Meet Dr. Louis Iorio

Double Board-Certified Mastery in Plastic and General Surgery

Dr. Iorio – Dr. Louis Iorio is a well-respected plastic surgeon who has been serving the Monmouth and Ocean County communities for over 15 years. He takes pride in providing the highest-quality cosmetic surgical treatments and is most known by his patients and colleagues for his compassionate and caring demeanor. Dr. Iorio is dual board-certified in plastic surgery and general surgery. He offers plastic surgery consultations for a wide variety of procedures including breast augmentation (breast implants), tummy tuck, liposuction and Smartlipo™, facelift, hair restoration, and more.

Dr. Iorio earned his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, Ohio. He completed his general surgery residency at State University of New York at Buffalo, where he was honored to serve as chief resident. Dr. Iorio completed a plastic surgery fellowship at Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, New York and received training at the Long Island Plastic Surgery Group – the oldest and largest private practice group in America.

Dr. Iorio’s involvement with various professional organizations highlights his commitment to providing the newest, most effective techniques, many learned from the most respected leaders in their field worldwide. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, Medical Society of New Jersey, International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Iorio operates out of the Surgical Institute in Neptune, New Jersey, which is certified by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care Inc. (AAAHC), ensuring the highest standards of safety and care. He also has privileges at Riverview Medical Center, Jersey Shore Medical Center, and Monmouth Medical Center.

Alessandra Utman

Practice Manager

With almost 10 years of experience in management and customer service, Alessandra keeps the office running like a well-oiled machine. She serves the team by ensuring the office and everyone in it are motivated and committed to growth. While Alessandra tends to be a behind-the-scenes player at Iorio Plastic Surgery and Medspa, her efforts and contributions are vital. Whether she’s busy in meetings, ensuring our patients are well taken care of, or wrangling and making sense of complicated administration tasks, Alessandra is always a team player. When she’s not making sure our I’s are dotted and our T’s are crossed, Alessandra enjoys running around with her kids, whether it be baseball or dance class, and loves hosting her closest friends. She’s always looking to grow and always looking for her next personal improvement project.

Anna Qiu

Physician Assistant

Anna Qiu, PA-C was born and raised in Boston, MA. She attended Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences where she obtained her Bachelor of Health Sciences in 2016 and Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2019. Anna is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants. She started her PA career in hair transplantation. While doing these procedures she focuses on high attention to detail and immaculate precision while recognizing the importance of anatomy to be able to deliver the highest quality of care to her patients. She prides herself on developing long-lasting relationships with her patients based on trust. These are key traits as she continues her career as a PA in aesthetics. Anna is well trained and well versed in Botox, Fillers, Micro-needling, Lasers, Hair transplantation & more!

Jessica McElroy

PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

Jessica is a board certified Physician Assistant and has been in practice since 2018. After graduating from Rutgers, she started her career in neurosurgery, but always had an interest in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. She works alongside Dr. Iorio in the office and serves as his first assistant in the operating room. Jessica is very passionate about helping patients achieve their goals by enhancing their natural beauty, through both injectable treatments and minimally invasive treatments such as microneedling and lasers.

Sherilyn Sloan

Clinical Manager

Sherilyn has been with Iorio Plastic Surgery for 20 years. On most days, she works as Dr. Iorio’s medical assistant and his surgical coordinator. Additionally, she works closely with Alessandra as the Clinical Manager. She has a true passion for the aesthetic industry and loves to see the transformation of our patients as they regain confidence and feel better about themselves. Sherilyn is always willing to go above and beyond to ensure our patients have the best experience at our practice.

Terri Ginsberg

Front Desk Supervisor

Terri Ginsberg has been with Iorio Plastic Surgery for 7 years and is responsible for managing patient expectations, and the front desk staff. She prides herself on creating meaningful long-term relationships with patients and being their first point of contact for resolution. Terri is committed to ensuring the best possible experience for anyone who walks through the doors.

Marissa Khoroshilov

Medical Assistant

Marissa has been in the medical field for 4 years now. As an experienced, service oriented professional with sufficient knowledge in the industry, she is vital to keeping an organized office flow. She is compassionate and loves building long-term trusted relationships with her patients!

Julia McElroy

Receptionist

After working in the Aesthetic Industry as an Aesthetician for the last five years, Julia is excited to continue to share her love of the industry, and people, as a part of our front desk staff. She feels very lucky to be working in an environment that continuously offers opportunities to learn and grow and where providing a positive patient experience remains at the heart of things. Aesthetician

Joni is an independent licensed clinical Aesthetician practicing in the aesthetic industry since 2006. Her extensive knowledge of cosmeceuticals combined with her sincere disposition ensures that you will receive the best treatment available. Treatments include medical grade facials and peels as well as microdermabrasion.

Valicia Stoeckel

Aesthetician

Valicia is a licensed clinical Aesthetician and skincare specialist. She has a love for beauty, both inside and out. Valicia is passionate about skin care and loves making her clients feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. Her facials incorporate goal-oriented results while also making her clients feel relaxed and pampered. Every facial with Valicia will leave your skin GLOWING.
